A 7-year-old boy, identified Monday as Stephon Alston, drowned Sunday in the pool at Centennial Apartments in the Windermere subdivision in South Forsyth County. Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Karleen Chalker said the boy’s father left the pool briefly to wipe his face off after being pushed in the pool. He returned to find his son at the bottom of the pool.
