Three people were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center after two vehicles collided on Thompson Bridge Road on Monday morning, according to David Kimbrell, chief of Hall County Fire Services.

The wreck occurred when a Chrysler LHS tried to cross Thompson Bridge Road near the Kroger-anchored shopping center. The Chrysler left Southers Road and struck a Chevrolet Avalanche that was headed north on Thompson Bridge Road, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The driver of the Chrysler, who the GSP would not identify, was charged with failure to yield.
