Three people from Hoschton, including two teenagers were killed in a wreck Sunday, July 8, in Lafollette, Tennessee.
Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the wreck around 5:42 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 75 southbound near the 141 mile marker.
Authorities said a Dodge Caravan and a tractor-trailer carrying food products were both headed southbound.
“(The tractor trailer) … slowed for traffic, coming to a stop when (the Dodge Caravan) made contact with the rear of the trailer,” according to the report.
The driver of the Dodge Caravan, Rebecca Marie Bachman, 42, of Hoschton, was killed in the wreck. Daniel, 13, and Lauren Bachman, 15, were also killed. Jake Bachman, 10, was injured.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Crystal Nagel, 47, of Florence, Kentucky, was uninjured.
Everyone involved in the wreck was wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.
