3 arrested in auto burglary investigation

Three people have been arrested in connection with several auto burglaries and thefts in Hall County, Gainesville Police Department reported.

The department said its officers were called to the 1000 block of Jesse Jewel Parkway on Nov. 6 where a witness told them about suspect and vehicle information involving a vehicle break-in. Shortly after, an officer on patrol located the suspects trying to sell stolen items at a pawn shop.

An investigation tied the suspects to a number of auto burglaries and thefts in the county, police said. Officers were able to work with investigators from the Hall County Sheriff's Office, and the Flowery Branch and Oakwood police departments to solve a number of these cases.

Arrested were Autumn Marie Cantrell, 30, of Pendergrass, charged with entering auto; Frank Anthony Jaworski, 31, of Gainesville, charged with two counts entering auto and financial transaction card fraud; and Anthony Dean Starnes, 24, Gainesville, two counts entering auto and giving false information to an officer.

Gainesville police advises residents to keep valuables in their vehicles locked up and out of site, and report suspicious activity to the Hall County Central Communications at (770)-534-5251.
