Two Conyers men were charged Wednesday with trafficking marijuana after about 24 pounds worth about $48,000 of the drug was delivered to a location in the 3600 block of Mundy Mill Road, Hall County sheriff's officials said.

Freddy Zarate, 24, and Jose Alejandro Oliveres, 33, also were charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and child endangerment, and had immigration holds placed on them. Oliveres' three children were in the van with the suspects. The children were returned to their mother later in the day, sheriff's officials said.

Agents with the Multi Agency Narcotics Squad, Gang Task Force, Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Hall County Sheriff's Office Uniformed Patrol Division arrested the two men and they were booked in the Hall County Jail.
