Hall County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested two men Tuesday and jailed them on burglary charges after neighbors reported a break-in off Marlow Drive.

Misael Cerda Ibarra, 19, and Marco Ibarra, 17, both of Gainesville, were arrested without incident near East Ridge Mobile Home Park and are being held at Hall County Jail. The Ibarras are cousins.

A neighbor alerted deputies to the crime when she called 911 around 9:45 a.m., Col. Jeff Strickland said. At the time, the witness reported seeing two Hispanic males forcing their way into a home, Strickland said.

They ran before taking anything, he added.

Deputies took the witness's description and later stopped Marco Ibarra on Marlow Drive in his vehicle, a burgundy 1995 Honda. Misael Ibarra was taken into custody a short time later as he walked down Marlow Drive, Strickland said.

Deputies still are investigating.
