William Cody Mullinax, 19, and a male juvenile were charged Friday with burglary after an incident at Cool Springs Baptist Church.

Hall County Sheriff's officials responded at 11 a.m. to the church on Cool Springs Road in northwest Hall, Sgt. Kiley Sargent said.

Workers at the church interrupted the burglary and the two suspects fled when deputies arrived, Sargent said. Hall County K-9 units were used to track the suspects and they were captured in a nearby wooded area, Sargent said.

All items taken from the church, which included electronics and was estimated at $500 worth, were recovered.

Mullinax is being held at the Hall County Jail and the juvenile is at the Regional Youth Detention Center. The Hall County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
