Hall County firefighters quickly put out a fire at Creekside Apartments in Oakwood Sunday evening.
The department received a call at 5:05 p.m. that two units were on fire at the five-unit building on Creekside Drive, off Mundy Mill Road.
When firefighters arrived, about one-fourth of the multistory building was on fire.
“Our guys jumped in and made a good interior attack and knocked (the fire) down quickly,” said Chief David Kimbrell about 30 minutes later.
No one was injured.
“The residents had all evacuated when we had arrived,” Kimbrell said.
Other details, such as cause, weren’t immediately available.
