A Hall County student was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a precaution after complaining of a headache following a minor school bus accident this afternoon.
Hall County School District Spokesman Gordon Higgins said the accident occurred about 4:45 p.m., when bus driver Faye Patterson failed to yield while attempting to turn left onto Jim Crow Road from Radford Road. The bus was struck by a Dodge pickup truck.
Neither driver was injured. There were four students from West Hall Middle School and West Hall High School in the bus at the time of the collision.
The parents of three of the children picked them up at the accident scene. The other child was taken to the hospital after complaining of a headache.
He was expected to be treated and released.
