Sara Dancy Wynne and Jacob Cain Billingsley were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Aug. 11, 2007, at First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Charles Stephen Wynne of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mrs. Constance Yates Billingsley of Valley, Ala.

The Rev. Dr. Terry Eugene Walton performed the ceremony. Organist Mr. Keith Jefcoat, vocalist Mr. David Allen Fox Jr., violinist Ms. Heather Strachan, cellist Ms. Mary Alice Swope and trumpeter Mr. Greg Holland presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Miss Julia Padgett Wynne of New York was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Mary Frances Brooksher of Bozeman, Mont.; Miss Kathryn Blair Capallo of Savannah; Miss Kathryn Sherrill Haley of Jackson, Wyo.; Miss Lyndsey Jean Hurst of Gainesville; Miss Anna Elizabeth Maxey of Savannah; Miss Kelli Marie McCarthy of Athens; Miss Elizabeth Johnson McHugh of Jackson, Wyo.; and Mrs. Kingsley Barrett Peeples of Gainesville. Junior bridesmaids were Miss Molly Brown Gay and Miss Katie Elizabeth Gay, both of Gainesville. The bride’s cousin Miss Elizabeth Bonnell Wynne of Potomac, Md., was the flower girl.

The groom’s brother Mr. Zachary Ryan Billingsley of Destin, Fla., was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Christopher David Beaird of Valley, Ala.; Dr. Robert Davis Denney of Birmingham, Ala.; Mr. Benjamin Parks Edwards of Atlanta; Mr. Dustin John Sharpe of Lanett, Ala.; Mr. Jonathan Tommy Siggers of Knoxville, Tenn.; Mr. Michael Scott Simms Jr. of Augusta; Mr. Benjamin Wade Wheeler of Austin, Texas; and Mr. Jeffery Riley Wooley of Riverview, Ala. Junior groomsmen were the bride’s cousins Mr. Stephen Harper Wynne of Potomac and Mr. William Gordon Wynne of Stone Mountain. Ring bearer was Mr. Thomas William Gay Jr. of Gainesville. Program attendants were Miss Mary London James Carswell and Miss Emily Hunt Carswell, both of Gainesville. Mr. William Christopher Davidson was the wedding coordinator.

The groom’s mother gave a rehearsal dinner at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the Chattachoochee Country Club following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Gainesville.
