Emily Jane Whitehead and Philip Steven Hayes were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Nov. 9, 2013, at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Gaynell Whitehead of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Michael and Janet Cable of Pulaski, Va.

Pastor Jentezen Franklin performed the ceremony. Pianist Bill Mason, vocalist Ami Young, and guitarist and vocalist Stevie Martin presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Anna Whitehead of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousin Christy Orr of Murrayville, and the bride’s friend Holly Adams of Cornelia. The bride’s cousins Abigial Elise Orr of Murrayville, and Anna Leigh Kinney of Murrayville were the flower girls.

The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s cousins Brooks Hayes of Knoxville, Tenn., and Eric Worley of Pulaski, Va., and the groom’s friend Alex Grigg of Gainesville. The groom’s cousin Carter Worley of Pulaski, Va., was the ring bearer.

Brian Kinney was the wedding coordinator. Kayla Mabe kept the bride’s book.

The bride carried a pearl pin from her late grandmother and wore a diamond necklace given to her by the groom.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Brenau University in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Oahu, Hawaii, the couple reside in Gainesville.
