Stephanie Elyse Walls and Jonathan Blake Vandiver were united in marriage at 7 p.m. June 28, 2008, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Debbie Walls of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Steve and Shanna Cronic of Gainesville and Ronnie and Sue Vandiver of Sharpsburg.

The Rev. Jamey Prickett performed the ceremony. Organist Terry Sapp and vocalists Katherine West, Nic Skey and Tripp Capplemann presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The groom's sister Holly Bales of Gillsville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Jean Clarke of Knoxville, Tenn.; Juliette Embry of Gainesville; Megan Huey of Charleston, S.C.; Amy James of Braselton; Sara Lathem of Macon; Laura Rogers of Auburn, Ala.; Becca Taubel of Washington, D.C.; Leigh Valentine of Atlanta; and Ashley Whitmire of Gainesville. The bride's cousin Caroline Baston of Gainesville was the junior bridesmaid.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friend Mike Adams of Orlando, Fla.; the groom's brother-in-law Andy Bales of Gillsville; and the groom's friends Dusty Benefield of Cumming, Steven Cornett and Nathan Crumley, both of Gainesville, Daniel Isaac of Charleston, S.C., Nick Medica of Atlanta; the bride's brother Charlie Walls of Nashville, Tenn.; and the groom's friend Travis Zobel of Charleston. The bride's cousin John Baston of Gainesville and the groom's nephew Andrew Bales of Gillsville were the ring bearers.

Christopher Davidson was the wedding coordinator. Hannah Patten and Jennifer Owen were greeters and Sharon Prickett was the Scripture reader.

The bride wore her mother's wedding veil and her grandmother's necklace. She carried a sixpence given to her by her aunt Karen Baston.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the Elks Club in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple reside in Gainesville.
