Robin Alison Vance and Brian Lawrence Adams

Robin Alison Vance and Brian Lawrence Adams were united in marriage on Oct. 24, 2009, at Lost Tree Chapel in North Palm Beach, Fla. The bride is the daughter of John and Nancy Vance of Buford. The groom is the son of Marilyn and Robert Young of Dawsonville and Ron Adams of Corpus Cristi, Texas.

The Rev. Joseph Wren performed the ceremony. Organist Patricia Holland presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Traci Vance Nicklaus of Duluth was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister-in-law Clary Wren Vance of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and the bride’s friend Mary Margaret Shealy of Atlanta. The bride’s niece Frances "Frankie" Margaret Nicklaus of Duluth was the flower girl.

The groom’s brother Jeremy Adams of Woodstock was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Jason Adams of Denver, Colo., and the groom’s friend Bryan Del Greco of Mandeville, La. The bride’s nephew John Joseph "JJ" Vance of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., was the ring bearer. Ushers were Michael Scott Nicklaus II and Vance William Nicklaus.

Marcia Cook was the wedding coordinator. Sydney Paige Kahn kept the bride’s book.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Lost Tree Beach House on the eve of the wedding.

The couple gave a reception at Lost Tree Beach House following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon in North Palm Beach, Fla., the couple reside in Gainesville.
