Courtney Brooke Smith and Andrew Thomas Pratt Alexander were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Feb. 15, 2014, at New Bridge Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Tony and Wendy Smith of Clermont. The groom is the son of Brian and Teresa Alexander of Clermont.

Pastor Tim Bell performed the ceremony. Pianist Sandy Harris presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Ciera Smith of Clermont was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Amy Campbell of Cleveland, and Ashley Norman of Oakwood. The bride’s cousin Gracen Kiser of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom’s father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brothers Zach Alexander and Reese Alexander, both of Clermont, and the groom’s friend Nathan Wilson of Oakwood. The bride and groom’s godson Konnor Campbell of Cleveland was the ring bearer.

Denise Kiser was the wedding coordinator. The bride’s cousins Dakota Perez and Logan Kiser kept the bride’s book.

The bride wore pearls given to her by her late grandmother, and carried her father’s baby ring on her bouquet.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner in the fellowship hall of New Bridge Baptist Church in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at North Hall Park and Community Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple reside in Gainesville.
