Ashley Melissa Porter and Gregory Nash Robinson Jr. were united in marriage at 6 p.m. May 14, 2011, at Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Kathy Porter of Greenville, S.C. The groom is the son of Gregory N. and Mary Robinson of Mount Pleasant, S.C.

The Rev. Paul W. Evans performed the ceremony. Harpist Corinne Fay Robinson Madeen and Mark Gainer presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's friend Kristina M. Johnson of Greenville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Danielle L. Smith, Jacqueline C. Citero and Sarah A. Johns, all of Greenville. The bride's friend Gabriella L. Watson of Greenville was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Adam J. Klassen of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Christopher E. Weschler, Peter A. Provost and Evan P. Aluise, all of Charleston, S.C.

The bride wore her grandmother's veil and pearls.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the Sewee Seafood Restaurant in Mount Pleasant on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's and groom's parents gave a reception at Boone Hall Plantation, Mount Pleasant, following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple reside in Charleston, S.C.
