Jana Simone Runals Pierce and Brett Travis Lowrey were united in marriage on Dec. 5, 2015, in a private home on Lake Lanier in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Cpt. Michael L. and Stephanie Runals (USN, Ret.) of Savannah. The groom is the son of David and Mary Lowrey of Chestnut Mountain, and Lee and Sue Busbee of Greensboro, N.C.
The Rev. Patsi Whitacker of Asheville, N.C., performed the ceremony.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father and mother. The children of the bride and groom, Elizabeth and Jonathan Lowrey and Emma Pierce, were their parents’ attendants.
The groom’s parents gave a wedding eve dinner at Chestnut Mountain Church on the eve of the wedding.
The bride’s parents gave a reception at Lake Lanier following the ceremony.
The couple will reside in Gainesville.
