Sandee and Stephen Prisley

Sandee Kay McGlaun and Stephen Post Prisley were united in marriage at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 12, 2015, at the Rooftop, Center in the Square in Roanoke, Va.

The bride is the daughter of Margaret and Garry McGlaun of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Jouett Prisley of Sterling, Va., and the late John Prisley.

The Rev. Paul Evans performed the ceremony. A choir of the bride’s girlfriends and guitarists Dan and Shannon Radmacher presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s friend Melissa Bernys of Roanoke was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Sherry McKinney of Oakwood and DorothyBelle Poli of Rocky Mount, Va.

The groom’s brother Fred Prisley of Earlysville, Va., was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Steve Roberts of Blacksburg, Va., and Robert Rotche of Blacksburg, Va. The bride’s nephew Ethan McGlaun of Las Vegas, Nev., was the ring bearer. Ushers were Dustin Prisley, Tucker Prisley, Hunter McGlaun and Daniel Kaufman.

Lexi Andrews was the wedding coordinator.

The bride wore the bride’s train from her mother’s wedding dress, the brooch of her maternal great-grandmother and the sixpence from the groom’s son.

The groom’s mother gave a rehearsal dinner at Hotel Roanoke in Roanoke, Va., on the eve of the wedding.

The bride and groom and the bride’s parents gave a reception at the Rooftop and Butterfly Garden, Center in the Square in Roanoke, Va., following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Grove Park Inn, Asheville, N.C., the couple reside in Roanoke, Va.
