Jessica and Christopher Duncan

Jessica Claire Martin and Christopher Bryan Duncan were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Nov. 7, 2010, at Miles Wilson Matthews Chapel in Hurricane Shoals Park in Maysville. The bride is the daughter of David and Clara Martin of Homer. The groom is the son of Larry and Lynne Duncan of Lavonia.

The Rev. Henry Wade performed the ceremony. Guitarist Zach Shirley and musical assistant Riva Nash presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Josie Blankenship of Athens was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister Brittany Conley of Lavonia and the bride's niece Kaitlyn Martin. The groom's cousin Bailey Payton of Anderson S.C., was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Michael Risner of Nashville, Tenn., was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride's brother Winn Martin of Homer and the bride's nephew Dylan Douberly of Douglasville. The groom's cousin Tyson Payton of Anderson, S.C., was the ring bearer. Ushers were James Conley and Dylan Doublerly.

Rebecca Poole was the wedding coordinator. Amanda Holman kept the bride's book.

The bride wore wedding rings from all of her great-grandparents and great-great grandparents and a garter made by her maternal great-great grandmother that the bride's mother wore at her wedding. She carried handkerchiefs belongs to her great-grandparents.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner in Commerce on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Pat Bell Conference Center in Maysville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon in Mineral Bluff, the couple reside in Commerce.
