Travis and Kirby Russell

Kirby Arielle Lee and Travis Hamilton Russell were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 1, 2011, at the bride's grandparent's Jan and Betty Cooley's farm in Clermont. The bride is the daughter of Brian and Tracy Pierce and Jim and Patti Lee, all of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Jimmy and Belinda Russell of Warner Robins.

Robby Christmas performed the ceremony. Vocalists Mary Lee Jackson and Rebekah Ryan and guitarist Josiah Bowers presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sisters Kalen Lee of Athens and Mallory Lee of Dalonega of were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's stepsisters Anna Pierce of Buckhead and Sarah Pierce of Dahlonega and the bride's sister Madison Pierce of Gainesville. The bride's cousin Caroline Newton of Clearwater, Fla., was the flower girl.

The groom's brother Eric Russell of Morgantown, Ky., was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends James Overholt, Jonathon Rose and Gavin Winter, all of Knoxville, Tenn., and Ruben Briano of Strawberry Plains, Tenn. The bride's brother Robby Lee of Gainesville was the ring bearer. Ushers were Conner and Thomas Owen Sosebee.

Shonda Sosebee was the wedding coordinator. Stephanie Newton kept the bride's book.

The bride carried a handkerchief in her bouquet belonging to her maternal great-grandmother.

The groom's parents gave a brunch at The Olive Branch in Gainesville on Dec. 31.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Jan and Betty Cooley's, farm in Clermont following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Knoxville.
