Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Propes

Miss Katherine Ashford Hudgins and Mr. Zachary Tyler Propes were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. May 8, 2010, at Gainesville First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ashford Hudgins of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Light Propes of Gainesville.

The Rev. Dr. Gerald Sims Thurman performed the ceremony. Organist Mr. David Keith Jefcoat and vocalist Mrs. Anthony Richard Wagner presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Miss Alison Marie Hudgins of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Miss Miranda Lloyd Parks and Miss Mary Katherine Clark, both of Gainesville, Miss Lyndsay Brooke Reed of Buford, Miss Emily Lauren Brasher of Lawrenceville and Miss Madison Leigh Alligood of Toccoa.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Mr. James Rushdy Francis, Mr. Jonathon Blake Little, Mr. Donald Alan Crumley, Mr. Tyler Hampton Smiley and Mr. James Stephen Ellis Jr., all of Gainesville. Ushers were Mr. Brandon Lee Morrow and Mrs. Spencer Griffin Arnold.

Mrs. James Richard Massey was the wedding coordinator.

The bride wore her mother's wedding dress and the groom wore his paternal grandfather's wedding band.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Oahu, Hawaii, the couple reside in Gainesville.
