Miss Alison Marie Hudgins and Mr. James Bradford Odom were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. July 17, 2010, at First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ashford Hudgins of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Stacy Odom of Macon.

The Rev. Terry Eugene Walton performed the ceremony. Organist Mr. David Keith Jefcoat and vocalist Miss Leslie Michelle Gibson presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Mrs. Katherine Hudgins Propes of Gainesville was matron of honor. The bride's friend Miss Holli Paige Howard of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Mrs. Anna Papa Caplan, Mrs. Jennifer Lee Carney and Ms. Joy Miriam Thurman, all of Gainesville. The groom's niece Miss Sara Elizabeth Winters of Macon was the flower girl.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Mr. Adam David Dukes of Sullivan's Island, S.C., Mr. John Darryl Jones Jr. and Mr. Chandler Livingston Penn of Macon and Mr. Thomas Nathan Simmons of Macon. The groom's nephew Master Jackson Lanier Justice III of Macon was the ring bearer. Ushers were Mr. Stephen Reid Burch and Mr. Larry Hughes Neal Jr.

Mrs. James Richard Massey was the wedding coordinator. Miss Miranda Lloyd Parks kept the bride's book.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Scott's on the Square in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Quinlan Arts Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple reside in Columbus.
