Ashley and Christopher Carrigan

Ashley Nicole Haynes and Christopher Charles Carrigan were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 4, 2008, at The Walters Farm in Lula. The bride is the daughter of Larry and Phyllis Haynes of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Jane Hornbrook of Alpharetta.

The Rev. Milton Harris performed the ceremony. Violinist Adam Poulin and guitarist Louis Pelot presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Jane Ellen Hanks of Athens was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Julie Hanks of Jacksonville, Fla., and Megan Fulton of Cumming; and the bride's cousin Kristen Elrod of Gainesville. The bride's cousin Katelyn Eades of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Mark Frazie of Alpharetta was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Jeff Pike of Atlanta, Justin Ball of Alpharetta and the bride's brother Josh Haynes of Gainesville. The bride's cousin Hunter Williams of Cleveland was the ring bearer.

Stephanie Smith was the wedding coordinator. Dora Mae Murphy, Regina Morrow, Cheryl Cantrell and Frances Cain assisted. Ginger Williams kept the bride's book.

The bride wore a vintage headpiece that belonged to her great-grandmother, Hattie Elrod.

The bride's family gave a rehearsal dinner at New Bridge Baptist Church in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding and a reception at the Walters Farm following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Kitty Hawk, N.C., the couple reside in Gainesville.
