Amanda Denise Hayes and Kevin Barry Sweeney Jr. were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Sept. 3, 2016, at Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Denise and Keith Jones of Lula, and Randy Hayes of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Irene and Kevin B. Sweeney Sr. of Gainesville.
Minister Andy Duran performed the ceremony.
The bride was presented in marriage by her stepfather, Keith Jones. The bride’s sister, Elizabeth Hayes of Gainesville, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jaclene Peugh of Marietta, Victoria Acevedo of Gainesville and Whitney Duran of Cumming. Their god-daughter, Austyn Duran of Cumming, was the flower girl.
The groom’s friend, George Anderson of Cumming, was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Andrew Smith of Lula, Matthew Burkett of Gainesville and Brandon Honea of Gainesville. Ushers were Tony and Hunter Strange.
Events by Dezine were the wedding coordinators. Jessie Smith kept the bride’s book.
The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner Sept. 2 at their home in Gainesville.
The bride’s mother, stepfather and father gave a reception at Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega following the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon to Asheville, N.C., the couple will reside in Gainesville.
