Elizabeth Grace Foltz and Jared Lawrence Hawkins were united in marriage at 4 p.m. May 27, 2013, at Lakepoint Community Church in Eatonton. The bride is the daughter of Donna Foltz of Flowery Branch. The groom is the son of Lary and Sheila Hawkins of Milledgeville.
The Rev. Mike Waers performed the ceremony.
The bride was presented in marriage by her mother and her grandfather Royce Hanner of Ashburn. The bride’s childhood friend Lauren Reed of Buford was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s college roommates Melissa Robbins of Marietta, Megan Cooper of Knoxville, Tenn., and Caroline Templeton Masters of Woodstock. The bride’s cousin Lindsey Hanner of Gray was the flower girl.
The groom’s childhood friend Julian Reynolds of Milledgeville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Sean Hawkins of Milledgeville, the groom’s friend David Paperno of Athens and the bride’s cousin Ben Hanner of Milledgeville. The groom’s taekwondo student Jay Taylor of Sandersville was the ring bearer.
The bride carried a lace handkerchief and wore her mother’s pearl ring.
The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner in Eatonton on the eve of the wedding.
The reception was held at The Barn at Crooked Pines Farm in Eatonton following the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon to Destin, Fla., the couple reside in Milledgeville.
