Terah Whitney DeVries and Justin Palmer were united in marriage at 7:15 p.m. Aug. 22, 2009, at The Summer House Garden at Lake Lanier Islands Resort. The bride is the daughter of Bob and Karol DeVries of Buford. The groom is the son of Len Davis of Flowery Branch and Jeff Palmer of Gainesville.

The Rev. James Mills performed the ceremony. A violin trio presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Ashleigh DeVries of Dahlonega was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Casey Fraser of Cleveland, Anna Crawford of Oakwood and Chastity Biddy of Buford.

The groom's brother Joel Palmer of Flowery Branch was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brothers Jeffrey Palmer of Gainesville and Josh Palmer of Flowery Branch, and the groom's friend Lance Richards of Cartersville. Ushers were Brad Baker and Jay Parrish.

The bride had a sixpence in her shoe.

The groom's mother gave a rehearsal dinner at Buckhead Pizza in Buford on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at The Summer House Garden at Lake Lanier Islands following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple reside in Buford.
