Miss Danielle Bueter and 1st Lt. Thomas Ackerman were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Nov. 22, 2008, at Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ellis of Gainesville and the late Mr. Daniel Bueter. The groom is the son of Lt. Col. and Mrs. John Ackerman of Prattville, Ala.

Judge Richard Alexander performed the ceremony. Guitarist Mr. Jeff Gilman presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her stepfather. The bride's friend Mrs. Ansley Mundy Konev of Atlanta was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister Miss Luci Bueter of Oxford, Miss., and the groom's sister Miss Shannon Ackerman of Prattville. Miss Haley Hicks was the flower girl.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride's brothers Mr. Isaac Bueter of Raleigh, N.C., and Mr. Jason Bueter of Oakland, Calif. The bride's nephews Master Brendan Bueter and Master Noah Bueter, both of Raleigh, were the ring bearers.

The bride wore a beaded veil, headpiece and garter made by her mother. She carried a yellow rose in memory of her father.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Caruso's Italian Restaurant in Duluth on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth following the ceremony.

The couple plan to honeymoon in Greece in 2009. The couple reside in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
