Bethany Leigh Blackwell and David Brian Lind were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Sept. 11, 2010, at Smithgall Arts Council Center in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Doug and Christi Blackwell of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Laura and Dale Weekley of Anchorage, Alaska and Bruce Lind of Flowery Branch.
The Rev. Scott Taylor performed the ceremony. Pianist Trudy Wilkerson, guitarist Dustin Cleveland and vocalist Cameron Glasper presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friends Breana England and Casey Lovelady of Oakwood were the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Vanessa Underwood of Buford, Taleisha Derthick of Buford, Heather Marshall of Oakwood, Ashley Parker of Braselton, and Erin England of Gainesville. The bride's friend's daughter Ava Ford of Jefferson was the flower girl.
The groom's friends Nikolai Lukahuk of San Diego, Calif., and Zac Coursen of Suwanee were the best men. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Daniel Lind of Flowery Branch, and the groom's friends Josh McEachin of Oakwood, Bryan Cobb of Athens, Dustin Clevland of Flowery Branch, Dustin Prodehl of Flowery Branch, Kyle Evans of Flowery Branch and Anthony Biano of New York, N.Y. The groom's friend's son Chase Branch of Buford was the ring bearer. Ushers were the groom's brothers Steven Lind and Michael Lind, and the bride's brother Nicholas Blackwell.
Amy Brock was the wedding coordinator.
The groom's family gave a rehearsal dinner at Holiday Inn in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.
The bride's family gave a reception at Smithgall Arts Council Center following the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon to Savannah, the couple reside in Oakwood.
