Amanda Dawn Banks and Jeffrey Paul Sheriff were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. July 19, 2008, at the Cornelia Community House in Cornelia. The bride is the daughter of Danny and Denise Banks of Lula. The groom is the son of Bedie Sheriff of Eastanollee and Johnny and Louise Bullard of Toccoa.

The Rev. James Duncan performed the ceremony. Accordionist John Drennon presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Keith Shockley of Lula was the bride's best man. The bride's friend Laurie Sargent of Cleveland was the bridesmaid. The groom's niece Grayson Shirley of Toccoa was the flower girl.

The groom's brother Allen Sheriff of Eastanollee was the groom's best man. The groom's brother Bryon Bullard of Toccoa was the groomsman. Ushers were Justin Banks, Shawn Beasley and Donald Spencer. Edna Drennon, Delores Spencer, Regina Morrow, Tonya Sheriff, Ronald Burkhalter and Shannon Sheriff assisted.
