The Sunshine Seniors have begun their annual Fruit and Vegetable Stand to benefit their organization.

The community group promotes healthy living through community service such as providing senior citizens with exercise and wellness workshops.

The Fruit and Vegetable Stand is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. For the past three years, the group held the sale at Fair Street Elementary School, but this year they have moved to a new location at 999 Chestnut St. in Gainesville.
