After slowed construction, Iglesia Bautista Cristo es la Roca set to open next month

Iglesia Bautista Cristo es la Roca pastor Samuel Samaniego hopes to open the church for services in a couple weeks. Church members donated all the labor to renovate the former property which consisted of a house and large workshop. The workshop has been converted to sanctuary which also has a large room for youth services while the house serves as nursery and Sunday school classrooms.

In August, Samuel Samaniego’s church, Iglesia Bautista Cristo es la Roca, finally got the go-ahead to continue construction on the church after being handed a “stop work order” from the county that halted construction for about five months.
