Air Force Airman William C. Reed and Airman Stephen M. Mayo graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Reed is the son of Sara DePue of Crestview, Fla., and David Reed of Clermont. He is a 2012 graduate of Crestview High School, Fla.

Mayo is a 2012 graduate of Flowery Branch High School.

The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
