Army Spec. Todd W. Bentley has graduated from the Special Forces Candidate One-Station Unit Training at Fort Benning in Columbus.
During the first 14 weeks of basic infantry training, Bentley received training in weapons employment, battlefield operations and tactics and learned the use of various weapons available to the infantry crewman. After basic training, the soldier will complete airborne school and be assigned to Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, N.C.
Bentley is the son of Chuck and Ann Bentley of Gainesville. He graduated in 2004 from Heritage Academy in Flowery Branch and graduated this year from the University of Georgia in Athens.
