The following students recently graduated from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro:

 

Sara Blankenship and Christopher Winterrowd of Braselton; Breezy Bray, Stephen Newton, Savannah Porter and Katherine Simonton from Jefferson; Brandon Canup and Moss Kollie from Oakwood; Amy Carlton, Ryan Conner, Emily Heard, James Lingenfelter, Emily Pope, Travis Petrie, Sarah Wiggins and Brandon Terry from Gainesville; Adam McBain from Murrayville; Charley McDaniel from Hoschton; Lindsey Roberts and Amy Ruiz from Buford; Steven Thibodeau from Clermont.


Nathanial S. Harris and Chelsea N. Sirard of Gainesville made the dean's list at Darton College for the Fall 2010 semester. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must be full time and have earned a 3.4 or higher grade point average.


Joseph McKechnie of Jefferson received a Doctor of Ministry in theology during the December 2010 Southern Methodist University commencement ceremony.


Joshua Chester, son of Daniel and Barbara Chester of Gainesville, was named to the dean's list or the dean's list with distinction at Duke University for the Fall 2010 semester.

To make the Arts & Sciences dean's list, students must rank in the top third of their college; for dean's list with distinction, the top 10th of their college. At the Pratt School of Engineering, students must rank in the top third within their academic class to make the dean's list; for dean's list with distinction, the top 10th within their academic class.
