Army Pvt. James H. Burns has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Burns is the son of Susan Little of Gainesville and is a 2014 North Hall High School graduate. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values and physical fitness.
