Seventh-grade students from Gainesville Middle School were awarded state recognition in the Duke University Talent Identification Program. The program recognizes students who have demonstrated advanced proficiency for college readiness as demonstrated on the measures for college readiness, the SAT or the ACT. The students are Asta Ceesay, Bennett Burns, Joseph Diaz, Virginia O’Keefe, Dianna Penado, Irene Que and Grayson Wagner
