The Gainesville Jaycees continued the long-standing goal of improving the Hall County and north Georgia communities with recent donations to area charities. The Jaycees bestowed a $1,500 gift on the Children’s Center for Hope and Healing and also made a $1,000 contribution to the Georgia Mountain Food Bank. The Children’s Center for Hope and Healing (formerly the Family Relations Program) is dedicated to stopping child sexual abuse and to preventing the exploitation of children and has served northeast Georgia for 27 years, providing counseling, education and advocacy for those whose lives have been affected by sexual abuse.
