Gainesville womans book gets 2nd place

Lilian Roberts of Gainesville was recognized by Rep. Carl Rogers for being named a MARSocial Author of the Year runner-up.

Roberts entered her debut novel, “Arielle Immortal Awakening” (published by Booktrope), into the competition. The organization received more than 5,000 nominations from around the world in April. Roberts’ book was one of only 12 that made the paranormal shortlist. The paranormal shortlist for the 50 books worth reading was compiled by Indie Author Land.
