Lilian Roberts of Gainesville was recognized by Rep. Carl Rogers for being named a MARSocial Author of the Year runner-up. Roberts entered her debut novel, “Arielle Immortal Awakening” (published by Booktrope), into the competition. The organization received more than 5,000 nominations from around the world in April.
