Gainesville Middle School recently won chapter of the year at the 2015 Georgia Tome Society State Conference. Individual awards went to the following: Bailey Morris and Cecilia Castro, first place, It List Book Trailer Kayleigh Nasworthy, first place, Bailey Morris, second place, It List Fan Fiction Bailey Morris, first place, Martha Carrera, third place, It List Book Talk Diana Penado and Michael Nguyen, first place, Current Issues Portfolio Brenda Cochran, first place, March Member Madness Alyssa Aguayo, Brenda Cochran and Emma Fockele, first place, Digital Scrapbook The school’s team also won first for Service Project and placed third in the Reading Bowl competition.
