Lowell Fuchs of Gainesville recently was awarded at the 2015 Georgia State University Undergraduate Research Conference. Fuchs, a music major, earned second place for a musical performance titled, “Fuchs’s Oil-Stained America: The Search for Creative Freedom in Music Composition.” More than 150 Georgia State undergraduate students from various disciplines were selected to give presentations.
