Gainesville resident Tom Cleveland is the winner of a national political writing competition, earning $250 and eligibility to compete for a $5,000 grand prize to be awarded in December by Allvoices.com’s The American Pundit contest. Cleveland published his March 20 column ‘Will the RNC heed the advice of its consultants?’ in response to The American Pundits writing assignment. The American Pundit, now in its second year, rewards $1,000 per month to writers for sharing their original viewpoints on pressing political topics of the day.
