Joseph and Wanda Strzemienski of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Anna Leigh Strzemienski to Mike Stephen Hewell, son of Frances and Donald Skelton of Hoschton and Steve Hewell of Gillsville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Veronica Strzemienski of Palmer, Mass., the late Stanley Strzemienski and the late Howard and Glana Summerour.

She is a 1998 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2002 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in international business. She is employed as an underwriter with The Hartford in Alpharetta.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Jack and Kathleen Hewell and the late L.B. and Maebelle Ward.

He is a 1995 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. He is employed as a service technician with AT&T in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed June 19, 2010, at the Braselton-Stover House in Braselton.
