Mr. Donald Sims and Mrs. Rebecca Sims of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Lauryn Rebecca Sims to 1st Lt. Bryan David Martin, son of Mr. Jack Martin and Mrs. Mary Lou Martin of Acworth. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Harold Sims of Cleveland, Mrs. Betty M. Sims of Gainesville, and the late Mr. George Allison and Mrs. Dessie Faye Allison of Chestnut Mountain. She is a 2007 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville.
