Bertha Hogan of Gillsville announces the engagement of her daughter Margaret Rose Poole to Stephen Ross Skinner, son of Sue and Ross Skinner of Tucker. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Johnny Ledford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Lake and Lucille Maney.

She is a 1988 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She is employed as a monitor with Tadmore Elementary School in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Loyd and Luvada Skinner.

He is a 1984 graduate of Tucker High School in Tucker. He graduated in 1990 from Georgia State University in Atlanta with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed as a printing director with Gwinnett County School System in Gwinnett.

The couple plan to wed July 3, 2010, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lula.
