James and Kathy Norton of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Catherine Elizabeth Norton to James Payden Sewell, son of Jimmy and D’ete Sewell of Gainesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Beatrice Keappler of Atlanta and the late Ernest Keappler, and the late A.W. and Mary Norton.
She is a 2007 graduate of Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. She graduated in 2011 from Brenau University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She plans to graduate in 2015 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is employed as a registered nurse by Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Phillip Cabri of Cullman, Ala., and the late Jane Cabri, the late Louise Sewell and the late William Sewell.
He is a 2006 graduate of Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. He graduated in 2010 from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. He is employed as a digital marketing manager by M-S Media in Atlanta.
The couple plan to wed Aug. 16, 2014, at Wolf Mountain Vineyards in Dahlonega.
