Todd and Laurie Lovelady of Oakwood announce the engagement of their daughter Lauren “Casey” Lovelady to “Jorge” Enrique Pradilla, son of Liliana Pradilla of Bogata, Colombia, and Enrique and Monica Pradilla of Weston, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jack Harper of Oakwood and the late Ruth Taylor Harper, and Parker and Carolyn Lovelady of Braselton.

She is a 2006 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2010 from Piedmont College with a bachelor’s of science degree in biology. She is currently attending Mercer University in Atlanta for her doctorate in physical therapy.

The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Mill Creek High School in Hoschton. He graduated in 2010 from Piedmont College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He received a master’s degree at Piedmont College in business administration. He is employed as an account manager by Mansfield Oil in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed May 2, 2014, at Lake Lanier Islands Resort in Buford.
