Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ebel of Dawsonville announce the engagement of his daughter Miss Lindsey Carol Ebel to Dr. Chadwick Marshall Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Marshall Palmer Jr. of Elberton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lorraine Timmons of Naples, Fla. and the late Mr. Clarence Joseph Ebel.

She is a 2005 graduate of Dawson County High School in Dawsonville. She is pursuing a nursing degree at North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega. She is employed by Northeast Georgia Physicians Group in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Bessie Mae Cleveland of Elberton, the late Mr. Sidney Cleveland, Mr. William Marshall Palmer and Mrs. Betty Tribble Mathis.

He is a 1997 graduate of Elbert County Comprehensive High School in Elberton. He graduated in 2001 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in biology. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He is employed as a sports medicine physician with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed March 26, 2011, in Athens.
