Lee and Marlyn Darragh of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Neely Allison Darragh to Nick Adam Almand, son of Michael and Valerie Almand of Marietta.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Bebe Yarbrough of Gainesville, and William and Myrna Darragh of Baltimore, Md.

She is a 2001 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2004 from University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree. She received a master's degree at Emory University. She is employed as a PA-C at Newnan Dermatology in Newnan.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mary Lou and Robert Neville Sr. of Gainesville, Fla., and the late Charles Almand of Trussville, Ala., and Joan Almand of Gainesville.

He is a 2002 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2006 from Shorter College with a bachelor's degree. He will receive a master's degree at Mercer University. He is employed as a contemporary worship leader by Clairmont Presbyterian Church in Decatur.

The couple plan to wed 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25, 2012, at Whitefield Chapel in Savannah.
