Lenore Clark of Cumming and Tim Clark of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Kaitlin Lenore Clark to Richard Keith Smith, son of Yvonne and Larry Jones of Lawrenceville and Charles Jr. and Arleen Pharr of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Vernon and Wanda Clark and the late John and Joan Susajlo.

She is a 2002 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2007 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and special education. She is pursing a master’s degree at Piedmont College in Demorest. She is employed as a second-grade teacher at Mount Vernon Elementary School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Elijah and Sue Smith of Auburn, the late Charles Pharr Sr., and Angela and Jim Halstead of Oakwood.

He is a 2003 graduate of Dacula High School in Dacula. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gainesville State College in Oakwood. He is employed in rental sales with Ryder Transportation in Athens.

The couple plan to wed June 19, 2010, at Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville.
