Diane Autry of Helen announces the engagement of her daughter Tasha Autry to Heath Biggers, son of Mitchell and Charmane Biggers of Cleveland.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Benny Autry. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late "Doc" and Carrie Lee Autry, and the late Odell and Lorean Vandiver.
She is a 2001 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. She is attending North Georgia College & State University pursuing a bachelor's degree in art marketing. She owns a pottery studio in Cleveland and is employed as the Life clerk at The Times. She is a member of Mount Yonah Baptist Church.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Daniel and Peggy Biggers of Cleveland and Jerry and Mary Trammell of Dahlonega.
He is a 1998 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. He graduated in 2005 from North Georgia College & State University with a bachelor's degree in biology. He is part-owner of Biggers and Callaham, which operates Mice Direct and North Georgia Corn Maze. He is a member of Mount Yonah Baptist Church.
The couple plans an open-church wedding for 4 p.m. May 24, 2008, at Mount Yonah Baptist Church in Cleveland.
