John III and Sherrie Atterholt of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Haley Nicole Atterholt to Jody Charles Gilreath, son of John and Cindi Gilreath of Tarrytown.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Richard and Virginia Smallwood and Shannon Ausborn, all of Gainesville and John Atterholt Jr. of Powder Springs.

She is a 2007 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated from Middle Georgia College in Cochran with an associate degree in pre pharmacy. She is pursing a bachelor's degree in biology from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mary Driggers of Tarrytown, and Willa Gilreath of Vidalia.

He is a 2007 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2010 from Middle Georgia College in Cochran with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

The couple plan to wed April 9, 2011, at Jim Walter's Barn in Lula.
